IMPHAL, August 4: Janata Dal (secular), Manipur has asked for the resignation of Youth Affairs and Sports Minister and Director of Sports, Government of India.
According to a release of Janata Dal (Secular), Manipur, Indian Woman Boxer Mary Kom of Manipur will fight on August 5 in London Olympics 2012 with her rival without any coach for her as her proposed coach is unqualified in International Standard.
“Even if the Prime Minister himself is not liable for the mistake, the Youth Affairs and Sports Minister and Director of Sports, Govt of India can’t escape their liabilities. They should resign for this mistake and ignorance. Rather it is a great shame for India,” it said.
