IMPHAL, Sept 5: The Council of Teachers’ Association, COTA has today lamented a recent order of the Finance department barring the monthly salaries of the employees of the education department including that of the government school teachers.
A statement of the council has said that the action could only led the teachers to come out and staged strikes.
It has also informed that barring the accounts section of the Education Department from getting their salaries is justified, however cutting the teachers from getting their salaries is not justified.
