IMPHAL, September 21 : A two-day free medical camp was conducted in remote areas of Chandel district and proper Moreh jointly organised by Directorate of Health Services, Voluntary Health Unit Committee, RIMS, All Community Development Organisation, Moreh, PHC Moreh and personnel of Tengnoupal Police station.
A total of 600 patients were treated from Chavang Phai Veng in Moreh town while another 400 patients were treated from Leibi village, an interior part of Chandel district. Medicines were distributed freely to the needy, a statement from the team said and added, 10 doctors from RIMS, another 3 from health services and several other support staffs conducted the camp.
The free medical camp will be conducted from time to time and on a yearly basis, the statement added.
