IMPHAL, September 4: The Joint Tribal Student’s Union observed the 10th Fresher’s Meet cum Get Together at TRI Complex here today.
The event was participated by students from five Govt. Higher Secondary school vis-à-vis CC, Ananda, Ibotonsana, Johnstone and TG..
The occasion was graced by Home, Horticulture & Soil Conservation, Tribal Affairs & Hill) Minister Gaikhangam as the chief guest.
In his speech, he advice the students to start working towards their goals in life and that this is the prime time of their life that will determine what they will become in life in the future.
He also adviced the students to obey their parents, listen to their teachers and fear God because by doing so, it has not harm anyone but lead the person to success.
Various cultural and entertainment items were also presented during the celebration by participants of different schools.
