IMPHAL, 8 September : The All Manipur Government Higher Secondary Lecturers’ Welfare Association has expressed great disappointment over the prolonged delay in disbursement of their monthly salary for so many months. In a statement issued to the press, the association came down heavily upon the concerned authority for repeatedly failing to pay their salary and further added, that the education minister has nothing or little concern for the teachers saying he did not even mention a single word during his speech at the Teachers’ Day celebration earlier on 5 September.
