IMPHAL, September 23: The Lamyanba Irabot Ningshing Thouram Observation Committee, Manipur today organized an awareness programme of the 10th Days the Lamyanba Hijam Irabot Ningshing Thouram at Nambol Sabal Leikai, community hall today.
Speaking on the occasion, Nambol College, retd Principal, M Ibohal said Lamyanba Irabot was a people’s leader.
He always considered all communities as same and he never differentiate between communities.
He always thought for the common good of the people, hensaid.
Several other speakers also spoke on his life and contribution during the programme.
Board of Secondary Education, Manipur Dr RK Sanajaoba spoke on “Loumee Sinmee sing gi damak Lamyanba Irabot na louram ba thoudang”, ISTV, Kakwa Sr Journalist, K Madhumangol spoke on “Lamyanba Irabot na semgatlamba loumee gi eehou amadi houjik ki mathou taba loumee gi eehou”, while, Manipur University, Department of Anthropology, MC Arun spoke on “Lamyanba Irabot na prubanchal sembagi matangda loukhiba phirep amadi Manipur gi saktam kanbada houjikki meerol na lougadaba phirep”.
Meanwhile, the All India Youth Federation, Manipur State Council had also organized the opening function of the 18th State Level Jananeta Irawat Sheitha EEshei Changdamnaba at the Rupmahal Theatre.
The opening function was attended by Direcotr Art and Culture, Dr K Sobita Devi, Manipur Building & Others Construction Workers’ Welfare Board, G Tombi Sharma, Executive Engineer, Joykumar Singh, AIYF state presidents Purnimashi Devi as the chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
