IMPHAL, Sept 2 : A team of Imphal East commando arrested two KCP (Noyon faction) cadres from a place near Keibi Bazar near Keibi high school.
In a statement issued to the press, Kamei Angam Romanus, superintendent of police, Imphal east identified the arrested cadres as Thangjam Naocha Singh, alias Allout, 20 years, son of Th Sanaton Singh of Keibi Makha Leikai and Moirangthem Iton Singh, also 20 years, son of M Ratan Singh of Keibi Awang Leikai.
The duo joined KCP, Noyon faction earlier last year, December 2011 and conducted various extortions, collected and transported arms and ammunition various times under the command of one s/s lance corporal, Thengra alias Chakarbidhu of the same outfit.
