IMPHAL, September 24: The All Manipur United Clubs’ Organization (AMUCO) organized a social service at its office areas on the inaugural function of Lamyanba Hijam Irabot memorial month on September 23 by volunteers of AMUCO, Kwakeithel Akham Leikai Club and individuals. On September 24, a seminar on “role of youth in Manipur (Political, Social and economic development)†was also held at the conference Hall of Mission Compound, Kwakeithel Laishram Leikai organized by AMUCO.
All India Youth Federation, Manipur State Council organized the 18th state level songs competition based on Jana-neta Irawat was held at Rup Mahal Theatre on September 23.
Nongchup Imphal Loumee-Sinmee Chaokhat Thourang Lup launched a ten day Irabot Memorial function at ten selected places. The third day was held today at Luker Lampak Achouba in Lamshang Kendra.
Hijam Irabot Memorial Charitable Trust and NLYO Pishumthong Nongthombam Leikai jointly organised a ‘Free Health Camp’ at Imoinu Community Hall at Pishum on September 23. 180 patients were treated and distributed free medicines.

Irawat Celebration Committee (ICC) will be observing the 61st death anniversary as the state mourn day at Irawat Bhavan at 8 am on September 26. ICC is also organizing a Blood donated camps at JNIMS and RIMS and appealed the general public to donate blood to pay respective to the leader on the said day.
The concluding function of the month long observation of the 116th birth anniversary of Hijam Irawat will be held at Iboyaima Shanglen, Palace Compound.
