IMPHAL, September 24: In a tragic incident, a 10 month old minor, Naorem Lanchenba, son of N Inao Shidaba, alias Inaoyaima of Heirok Part II of Chingon Leikai was electrocuted to death yesterday around 1:10 pm.
The victim died immediately after he was electrocuted at the residence of his step-father identified as Khundongbam Prem of Heirok Bazar manung.
The accident happened when the minor accidentally touched and handled the electrical multi-charger at home.
The deceased minor was later taken away by his biological father, N Inao after conducting post mortem at JNIMS mortuary and a case has been registered at with the Thoubal police station.
The mother of the deceased minor, Moirangthem Roni, 21 of Heirok part II is originally from Heirok who divorced her first husband and she took the child along with her when she re-married her second husband at Heirok where the accident happened yesterday.
