IMPHAL, September 19: The Manipur Olympic Association will send its recommendation of the three day seminar on development of sports in the North Eastern States to the DoNER Minister, Union Sports Minister and the national federations of the 15 sports disciplines which were included during the seminar and the concern state YAS departments.
This was said by MOA secretary L Manglem during a press conference at the Manipur Olympic Bhawan at Khuman Lampak today.
Reacting to the several complaints over the exclusion of certain sports discipline including fencing and cycling from the seminar, he showed the invitation list send out to 19 state associations.
He also said that certain associations failed to reply to the invitations resulting in their exclusion.
He further urged the concern authorities to come together instead of just complaining.
