MSF demolish school toilet

IMPHAL, September 28: Manipuri Students’ Federation volunteers today dismantled and destroyed the newly built toilet complex of Irangbam Primary School, Top Makha Leikai.

The student body justified its volunteers’ action by claiming that the contractors had failed to maintain quality in constructing the toilet complex.

Speaking to media persons at the school, MSF vice president, Sharaj ud din alleged that the demolished toilet complex was constructed under the SSA scheme with a total construction cost of Rs 1.5 lakh.

He continued that the MSF volunteers had to dismantle the complex as the contractors had failed to maintain quality in the construction.

The MSF will continue with such drives, he said.
