IMPHAL, September 23 : The arrested individuals, Chongtham Ongbi Memi Devi and Chongtham ongbi Anita Devi were not URF cadres as claimed by Imphal east police, a statement from URF said today and added, they are relatives of URF cadres.
The statement also clarified, the arrested Phijam Brojen is also not URF cadre as reported.
They were earlier arrested on September 21 from Porompat area.
