IMPHAL, September 11: The XXth Annual foundation Day celebration of SARGAM was held today at MDU Hall, Yaishul.
The function was attended by RK Anand Singh, MLA, B Netachandra Sharma, president, Sargam cum Performing Musical Institute, Chingamakha, Vedeshwar Sharma, secretary, Manipur State Kala Akademi, M Joy Singh, IAS, Govt of Manipur, Dr H Nabachandra Singh, secretary, Council of Higher secondary Education Manipur, Dr Todhachandar Sanasam, president, AMMIK, Dr Dhanabir Laishram, social activist as chief guest, president and guests of honour respectively.
Floral tribute was paid to former president of SARGAM, (L) G Shyam Kanhai Sharma and founder member of SARGAM, (L) N Somorjit during the function.
