Manipur, IMPHAL, September 10: The Chanchipur High School authority has appealed the Education Minister and Manipur University authority to open the gates of MU for the convenience of their students.
Speaking to media persons, Huirongbam Bama Devi, school authority of Chanchipur High School, said that the number of students studying in the school has been rapidity decreasing since MU has closed their gates no 2, 3 and 4 since 2006.
She further said that most of the students from Langthabal, Lilong and other nearby areas have stop coming due to the inconveniences faced by them while coming passing gate number one of MU. Now the school has almost reached to the stage of defunct due to lack of student, she added.
