In Sikkim, the water supply has been restored in worst landslide affected area of Chungthang in northern part. The power supply in these areas temporarily being provided through generators is expected to be restored within two days. The state government said that the civil administration along with the central forces and public intensified its efforts to resume normalcy. The official sources said that one air force helicopter has been deployed for supply of food and essential commodities at Lachung , remote village about 116 kilometre off Gangtok in north district . The death toll in flash flood incident has risen to 20 so far.
