IMPHAL, Sept 2: In another occasion, medical team of 27 Assam Rifles of 28 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) saved the life of a snake bite victim on September 1, 2012. The victim, L Pramo Devi, 53, a residence of Elangkhangpokpi, district – Thoubal was bitten by a venomous snake was brought to the Unit Hospital in a critical condition and was immediately attended by medical officer who administered life saving anti snake venom and her condition was stabled. Later she was evacuated to RIMS Hospital, Imphal for further management, IQ IGAR (South) said in a release.
