IMPHAL, September 21 : A five-month pregnant woman was found dead after she reportedly consumed poison. The deceased pregnant lady has been identified as Keisham ningol Akoijam ongbi Sushila Devi, 32, wife of Ak Premjit Singh of Yairipok Bishnunaha, Mayai Leiaki.
Family members of the deceased filed a complaint to the police station.
Earlier, the deceased body of Sushila was found lying by a river and died on the way to JNIMS hospital and the body is kept at JNIMS mortuary today.
The real cause of the dead will be ascertain after post mortem report tomorrow, sources said.
