IMPHAL, 4 Sept : The trade union renders basic knowledge to remove poverty in the state and also to tackle the market crisis, stated Dr M Nara Singh, president, All India Trade Union, AITU Manipur during his speech at the Convention held at Rupmahal Theatre, BT Road today.
Terming trade union as the school of sociolism, Nara said, our society can strengthen through its presence.
Speaking on the occasion, Com Manglem, president, All Manipur Road Transport Motor Workers Union pointed out the salary for the drivers are very low. He continued to raise several other issues and stressed the need to have a proper trade union.
Several other dignitaries were also present during the convention and shared the importance of trade union.
