IMPHAL, October 18: In a major breakthrough, Security Forces under aegis of the Red Shield Division have apprehended three over grounds workers on October 15 from Khordak and Nongmaikhong areas. The over grounds workers were actively involved in extortion and providing administrative support to the militants, said a PIB release.
According to the release, the apprehended persons have been identified as Salam Mangolangnbi (OGW-PREPAK) of Khordak, Moirang under Kumbi Police Station, Heisnam Sharat Kumar (OGW-KYKL) of Khordak, Moirang and Ibemcha (OGW-PLA) of Nongmaikhong, Kakching under Yaikhong Police Station. The apprehended persons were handed over to Kumbi Police Station, it added.
