IMPHAL, Oct13: Two youths on a bike were killed in a road accident with a Tata truck yesterday at around 4:30 pm infront of 30 Assam Rifles post at Chingmeirong under Lamphel PS.
One of the two youth died on the spot and the other one died today early morning at around 3am at the Raj Polyclinic.
The two deceased persons have been identified as Ngamjaopao Rongmei, 25, son of Ganparei Rongmei and Gaijanleng Rongmei, 21, son of Gaikampao Rongmei both from Khoupum in Tamenglong District.
The registration number of the Bajaj Pulsar bike is MN01-DD-9131 and the registration number of Tata truck which hit them is MN06-SA-2666.
The death bodies were handed over to their family members after a post mortem at RIMS morgue today evening.
