IMPHAL, Oct 25: A Chinese make hand-grenade was found at an NRL oil pump located at Chumbrithong, Mantripukhri of Imphal East District today at around 5.30 pm.
According to police sources, the pump belongs to one Kongkham Manglem, a resident of Mayang Imphal Thana Awang Leikai. He contested in the last Assembly election as a Trinamool Congress candidate.
Heingang police have safely recovered and disposed the grenade.
