IMPHAL, Oct 21: A two day International conference on the, “Interplay of Economics, Politics and Society for Inclusive Growth”, was held on 15-16 october at the Royal Thimphu College (RTC). The conference was organized by the College in collaboration with Gross National Happiness Commission (GNHC) with financial assistance from UNDP. Various academicians; policy makers and researchers from, Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Canada and Bhutan attended the conference. Longjam Meena Devi, a Research Scholar in Manipur university with her paper entitled “Empowering women through alternative media” and a lecturer in Sherubtse college, Bhutan on his paper entitled “RTI ACT in India” were among the delegates who presented the papers in the conference.
