JAC announces 48-hr Imp-Ukl bandh

IMPHAL, October 6: The joint action committee against the forced disappearance of Irabanta has called a 48 hours sbundh along the Imphal Ukhrul road. on October 9.

In a statement, the JAC further lamented that the authority is doing nothing agaianst the culrprit NSCN I-M cadres and responsibilities who forcibly kidnapped and took him into their custondy and remain untraceable till date is beyond any human can tolerate or endure.

This heinous act should and must be condmned by any citizen in the world regardless of age, sex, creed or any sect. No human would agree to any of these activitis these so called armed criminals involved in peace talks with the governmnet of India.

If the authority wishes to remain silent to the deadlines given, then further economic blocake would be laucnh in an unprecendented way, the statement warned.

The list is endless, the statement said, where such an organisation called the NSCN (I-M) who are armed to the teeth and involved in looting, extorting and killing of innocent civilians right under the nose of the Indian Army is a blatant lie to the whole community and the human race as a whole all in the name of ceasefire with the Indian Government.

The general public can no longer tolerate these killings under the guise of Indian ceasefire, the statement said, something drastic is likely to happen and all NSCN (I-M)  cadres involving only in criminal activities must be put to justice very soon.

Mention may be made, Irungbam Irabanta, 38, son of Late I Kerani of Nongdam Maning Leikai near gate no 3 of Jawaharlal Nehru Insititute of Medical Science, JNIMS still remained untraced or unheard of ever since NSCN (I-M) Cadre came on a Maruti Gypsy on 27 May and took him away and forever till date.
