IMPHAL, Oct 9: The Lions Club of Leimarol, Imphal observed the International Lions Service Day at the Old Age Home, Mongsangei run by the All Manipur Senior Citizen Welfare Association on Monday. Blankets and eatables were distributed to the inmates of the Home as well as to three other needy elders.Lion Diana Thokchom, President Lions Club of Leimarol and N Kerani Singh, President of AWSCWA presided over the function held at the Home. The interdependence of such charitable and welfare organisations were reiterated and emphasised on the occasion by the dignitaries, a release by Nandini Thokchom, PRO of the Club said.
