IMPHAL, Oct 14: According to a PRO IGAR (S) release, Maj Gen U K Gurung, YSM, IGAR(S) had flagged off a National Integration tour on october 14 from Mantripukhri.
The tour organized by 9 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector under the aegis of HQ IGAR(S) is participated by 20 students from Moreh town, it said.
The release has also said that the itinerary of the tour includes interaction with the President of India, the Chief of the Army Staff and eminent sports personalities like Vijendra Singh, Kapil Dev, etc, in addition to visits to various historical places like Red fort, India Gate, Raj Ghat and Qutab Minar.
