UKHRUL, Oct. 09: Thousands of Tangkhul Baptist Churches members vowed to work for peace and unification of all Tangkhul Naga Christian Churches during the “Programme of the Unification Meeting of All Tangkhul Naga Baptist Christian Churches” held at Ukhrul Mini Secretariat Multi-Purpose Hall.
The participants of the programme include pastors, ex-pastors, religious leaders, mission workers and members from across four corners of the district.
The main speakers of the function which kicked off at 10am were RV Shangkahao Longvah, Rev Wungnaoyo, Rev Maichop Luiram, Rev N Prangthoching and Rev Samuel Tuithung.
A special exhortation programme was also included during the occasion which was followed by a group discussion.
There was a big public feast after the function.
The function was initiated by the Committee of Peace for Programme of the Unification meeting of All Tangkhul Naga Baptist Christian Churchers, (PCUTBCC).
