IMPHAL, Oct 17: The Traffic Police of Imphal West has notified in a statement regarding the traffic diversion/traffic restriction in connection with the Manipur Police raising day celebration on October 19.
All buses and trucks coming from Thoubal side via Chinga Traffic point shall be diverted towards New Thumbuthong with direction to proceed towards Central Bus Terminus via Khongman Mangjin (eastern side of Takhelkhong) and Kongba bazar; at Sing & Co Moirangkhom vehicles except the vehicles of officials, invitees and security personnel on duty coming from Moirangkhom and Keishampat side shall be diverted towards Keishamthong and Moirangkhom respectively; from Kangla Monument near GPO vehicles except the vehicles of officials, invitees and security personnel on duty coming from Sanjenthong and Keishampat side shall be diverted towards Keishampat and Sanjenthong respectively.
This above mentioned traffic rules will be enforced on October 19 from 5 am till the function at 1st MR is over.
