IMPHAL, Oct 9: The United National Liberation Front, UNLF has refuted the claim of the PRO IGAR (S) that the Assam Rifles had arrested six UNLF cadres on October 7 during an operation launched near New Zalinmoul, Moreh.
A press statement issued by its senior publicity officer, Ksh Yoiheiba has said that the arrested persons are not in anyway related to the outfit.
It has continued that the report is a propaganda of the security forces after several of its personnel had been killed or hurt in attacks of the militant outfits.
