IMPHAL, October 24: The Union of Social Upliftment, in a release, has strongly condemned the alleged rape case of a 17 year old girl by an Imphal West CDO driver on October 20.
USU demanded immediate suspension and befitting punishment to the CDO driver, Yumnam William Singh, son of late Y Deven Singh of Khagempali, who have allegedly committed the crime.
USU further said that actor and singer, Thongam Tarun Singh, son of Thongam Jayenta Singh of Thangmeiband Sinam Leikai have also help in committing the alleged crime by taking video clipping of the crime and demanded befitting punishment for him too.
