IMPHAL, October 6: Founder and Technical Director of Wushu Association of Manipur, M Biramani Singh was gifted a car by his Jharkhand National Games’ medalist pupils.
The gift was handed over to him at a small function held at Wushu Garden, Khuman Lampak Sports Complex.
“We are presenting this gift to our teacher because he has done so much for us to make us a good sport person. He has always taken care of us no matter it rains or shines,” said a player at the function.
Speaking at the function, M Biramani expressed is happiness after seeing the love and care shown by his pupils. He said that after seeing such discipline and honesty, he is sure that his pupils will bring more medals in national and international championships to come. If Wushu is included in the Olympic Games, he will put his best effort to produce Olympians, he added.
