IMPHAL,November 14: The 44 Assam Rifles of 10 sector under HQ IGAR,S, celebrated Children’s day to commemorate the birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru at Chassad today. The Commandant of 44 Assam Rifle inaugurated the event as the Chief Guest. The event was celebrated with school children from AR school,Chassad,Kamjong and other adjoining villages performing a grand cultural program which included folk songs and traditional dances.
In another occasion, a debate competition was organized by the 37 Assam Rifles of 28 Sector under HQ IGAR,S, on children’s day at community hall Tuijang village in Chandel district today.
