IMPHAL, Nov 17: A one day painting competition for school students was held today at Budhi Manjuri Junior High School, Khamnam Bazaar today. The said competition was organised by ChildLine, Imphal in collaboration with Budhi Manjuri Junior High School, as said by a press release today.
The winners of the competition are H Chinglembi Chanu, Class-8; Purnachandra, Class-6 and P Elizabeth Devi, Class-7 as first, second and third respectively. And the fourth, fifth and sixth prize goes to Lelil Meetei, Class-5; S Niranjoy Class-7 and Prithivi Raj, Class-7 respectively.
The said painting competition was themed as ‘Children in Need of Care and Protection’’. It further added that the said competition was a part of 7-days ChildLine campaign titled as ‘ChildLine Ga Marup Oise’ (Childline Se Dosti) that was kick-off from 15 Nov.
