IMPHAL, November 13: ESU Wangkhei lifted the trophy of the ‘Baby Suchitra Memorial Junior Girls Football League 2012’ with 9 points.
The league which started on November 10 was organized by Imphal East District Football Association with four teams playing the league at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium.
In the first ground match today, ESU Wangkhei beat NYTHC by 2-0.
Th Prunima (4th/55th) scored for ESU.
Meanwhile, in the second match, NIVSO beat AMMA Andro by 4-0 .
S Ranjana (22nd/43rd/48th) and K Pinky (20th) scored for NIVSO.
ESU secured 9 points from 3 matches, NYTHC secured 6 points, NIVSO secured 3 points and AMMA secured nil.
