DIMAPUR, Nov 13 (NNN): The NSCN faction headed by S S Khaplang is likely to hold dialogue with the government of India soon.

However, it is yet to be confirmed officially.

A delegation of NSCN-K had reportedly met “informally” with Union Home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde in New Delhi few days ago and discussed “issues”.

However, it was again, yet to be confirmed what exactly conspired in that “informal” meeting between the NSCN-K leaders and the Union home minister.

The sources disclosed Newmai News Network tonight that the NSCN-K delegation headed by the outfit`s `kilonser` (minister) Wangtin Naga had met Sushil Kumar Shinde. The meeting was “informal”.

Attempts to ascertain officially about the NSCN-K and the Union home minister`s “informal” meeting in New Delhi last week proved futile.

However, official sources disclosed NNN that a four-member NSCN-K team led by Wangtin Naga had gone to New Delhi last week by boarding a plane from Dimapur Airport.

Attempts to contact Wangtin Naga was not successful this evening to confirm about the meeting with the Union home minister in New Delhi.

Meanwhile, the sources said that what the Union home minister had said will be detailed it to the outfit`s chairman S.S Khaplang soon.

It is speculated that the “informal” meeting between the NSCN-K delegation and the Union home minister could be “to start the formal peace parleys” between the two parties which is likely to take place soon.

Speculations have also been doing the round that the “comments” of S.S Khaplang has been awaited. NSCN-K supremo S.S Khaplang is presently confined in Myanmar.
