IMPHAL, Nov 25: A district level painting competition for class 6 to 10 was held today at DAV Public School, Sangakpham. The said competition was organised by Kangliepak Students Association (KSA) to mark its 7th anniversary. The theme of the competition was titled as “Destruction condition of environment ways and means to prevent and the alternative source of energy” in which students from 13 different schools joined the competitions.
The main focus of the competition was to raise consciousness on environment degradation, and to provide a platform for exploring the hidden talents school students, as said by one KSA member.
The KSA members further said that the prizes for the said competition will be distributed on Nov, 27. They further added that the first, second and third position will be awarded a cash prize of rupees 5000, 3000, and 2000 respectively.
