IMPHAL, Nov 3: Two KYKL Activist who have been involved in extortion of huge amount of money from Thangal Bazar area and many business persons was arrested by the commandos of Thoubal District police on 2 November in a search operation conducted at Thoubal Hoakha..
As per a press release from the Bishnupur SP, both the KYKL activities are working in finance department of the proscribed organisation and the arrested people are identified as Gurumayyum Gopendro Sharma alias as Boby, 40, son of late G Manihar Sharma of Kongman Manging Mamang Leikai of Imphal East District and Meisnam Sunder alias Sunderlala alias Jiban singh, 43, son of late Babu Singh of Nambol Thongkha, Bishnupurn District.
