Pre board exam conducted

    IMPHAL, Nov 23: The 6th pre-board examination for class 10 students for various schools was conducted today by All Manipur Recognised Private School’s Welfare Association, AMRPSWA. Around 7000 students from 150 schools turn-up to appeared the said examination at different centres.

    General secretary of AMRPSA, N Shatikumar said the media person that the said exam is conducted in view to eliminate the exam frights and to intervene using unfair means by enhancing the confidence level of students. He further viewed that such exam would increase the pass percentage in the HSLC exams and also it will bring a quality education in the state.

    He further said that the questions pattern and admit card of the said examination was formulated and designed similarly with board’s exam. He further maintained that all the question papers of the said exam were kept at the police stations near to respective examination centres, for instance for centres of Singjamei at Singjamei PS, for Mayang Imphal at Mayang Imphal PS  etc.  He further lauded that as a result of the pre-board examination, the previous pass percentage was surged up to 60 percent.

    And during the today examination, flying scout team led by S Memcha Chanu president, AMRPSWA inspected examination centres at Nambol, Moirang today.
