IMPHAL, November 16: A one day consultation cum felicitation programme for successful candidates of MPSC exam, 2010 was held today at Teinem Village, Ukhrul. The said programme was organised by Zingtum Tangkul Katamnao Long (ZTKML).
The successful candidate that was feted was Semmi Ramror, K Themreingam Rainam and RA Ransing.
Speaking at the felicitation function, SP Sajiwa Jail IK Muiva stresses the need for a refined social and cultural environment infusing a value education. He further added that value education is all about sharing and caring. He further maintained that education indicates the physical, mental and social state of the person.
The Principal of the state Institute of Rural Development (SIRD), MCS Lungrei Kashung stressed the crucial role of community should for a sustainable development in the context of under privilege society.
Speaking at the sideline of the occasion, ZTKL President AC Thotso stressed the need of improving transportation and healthcare in the Ukhrul District, which is in a worst situation. He further appeals the all the concern minister, MLA and all insurgent groups not to disturb education sector.
