IMPHAL, Nov 2: The Troops of 28 Assam Riffles, 9 sectors under HQ IGAR (s), have arrested 2 cadre of UPPK in search operation from Lilong chingjoa and Lilong Sagomsang area of Imphal East district today, as said by a press release from IGAR (s).
The arrested person has been identified as Md Nasir alias Ithem, 37 son of Md Baidar from Lilong Chingjao and Md Lillauddin alias Ithoiba, 42 son of Md Thoiba from Lilong Sangomsang. It further maintained that one 7.22 mm pistol with magazine, and hand grenade was recovered and handed over to Lilong Police station.
Meanwhile, 6 DOGRA of 26 Sector under HQ IGAR (s) have said that 7-days screening of motivational movies was held at remote village of Motlung, Phasanjang, Kenjoi and Molcham. It further added that purpose of the film screening is to motivate the villager in facing hardship and to work jointly for healthier and happier community.
