IMPHAL, December 9: All Manipur video film makers’ and producers’ association (AMVIMPA) to organise ‘future actor 2013,’ a gate way to the Manipur cinema on January 20, 2013 here at Bheigyachandra Open Air Theatre (BOAT).
This was announced by the chairman of the organising committee during a press conference held at the AMVIMPA office today noon.
Speaking to media persons, Chan Heisnam, who is the chairman of the organising committee and president of AMVIMPA, said that recently Manipur films have brought many remarkable achievements in the national and international films arena and so to enhance the achievement AMVIMPA has been organising various programmes related to film world such as film workshop, talents hunt, seminars, discussions and film festivals etc.
He further said AMVIMPA is also concerned with the quality film production for the state local market. For the first instance AMVIMPA feels the emergence of grooming disciplined and talented artistes for the speedy growth of Manipur film industry.
Executive member of AMVIMPA, Tejkeshor informed that the application form for the future Actor 2013 will be available from tomorrow at the office of AMVIMPA and Film forum Manipur and the last date of submission form will be December 30. All together 20 participants will be selected, 10 male and 10 female, for the mega event on January 20, 2013.
