IMPHAL, Dec 6: Department of Sports of Manipur University ,as recommended by the selection committee of the trial selection held on 23 November, has selected three athletes to represent the M.U Athletics ,(M) team 2012-2013 to participate in the All India Inter University Athletics meet to be held at Kalyani University ,West Bengal from 22-26 January, 2013.
The selected athletes are Utpal Paul of Liberal college for 200m race, Th Roshan Singh of D.M college of Science for 800m race and Th Imocha of Thoubal for Javelin.
The players are directed to report to O Pari of Athletic Association of Manipur at 7 am on 3 January, 2013 at premises of Department of Sports, M.U. for further training.
