IMPHAL, Dec 4: A team of Indo Myanmar Border Traders’Union (IMBTU), Babupara will set off for Mandalay City of Myanmar on December 9, 2012. The team has been invited for the reception of “second Asian car rally”organised by Confideration of Indian Industries (CII) since November 26 last, stated a press release signed by T Rasmani Sharma, V/President IMBTU.
After organising a meeting on border trade there, the team will accompany the rally to Imphal. To increase the economic growth of the state it is necessary to modernize border trade. Therefore, IMBTU appealed not to call any bandh or blockade so as to make the trip free from disturbances, the release added.
