IMPHAL, December 17: The Ten Star Development Society, Keirao Bitra on Sunday organized a reception ceremony of meritorious students in Class X and XII examinations, excellent sportspersons and dedicated social activists of Keirao Bitra at Nongpok Ningthou Panthoibi Lampak, Keirao Bitra.
The function was attended by MLA Keirao A/C, K Thamarjit Singh, founder cum director Huiyen Lalong Manipur Thang Ta Cultural Association, Padmashree G Gourakishor Sharma, YDCC president, M Manglemba Singh and SDO cum BDO Henglep, Churachandpur, S Kunjageshore Singh as chief guest, president and guests of honour respectively.
11 students, three sportspersons and three social activists of Keirao Bitra were felicitated during the programme for their excellence in their respective fields.
Ten Star Development Society general secretary, Mutum Ibomcha, speaking to media persons said that this felicitation program is organized every year since 2005 and it is organized to motivate the students and people of Keirao Bitra.
