IMPHAL, December 29: A combined team of Thoubal Police and 15 Assam Rifles on Friday arrested one PREPAK cadre during a search operation at Wangjing bazaar, said a police release. The arrested person has been identified as Mayengbam Menan Singh alias Golao, 29, son of M Brajababu Singh, of Wabagai Mayai Leikai at about 4:30 pm. One 9 mm pistol with two live rounds was also recovered from the arrested person, the release added.
