IMPHAL, Dec 7: A one day consultative meet on “role of media in eliminating violence against women in Manipur,” was held today here at Hotel Imphal organized by Women Action for Development.
The consultative meet was moderated by AMWJU president, A Mobi and Y Rupachandra, principal correspondent, Seven Sister Post.
The meet was attended by Satyajit Usham, editor, Hueiyen Lanpao (English), Helendro Maibam, editor, ISTV, W Tiken, editor, The People’s Chronicle, T Ringo, editor, Eimi Times, Aribam Ibomcha, news editor, AIR.
The attending editors expressed their points of views on the topic “role of media in eliminating violence against women in Manipur.”
