IMPHAL, Jan 16: A construction worker who sustained injuries on his head after falling from the second floor of a building at Uripok Sorbon Thingel Kabrebam Leikai yesterday succumbed to his injuries later in the day.
The incident happened yesterday around 1pm at Uripok Sorbon Thingel Kabrebam Leikai where he was working. He died at the Shija Hospital where he was undergoing treatment at around 2pm. The mason has been identified as Sujay Suttradhar, 40 son of Dinabandhu of Jalpaiguri, West Bengal. The concerned police has filed a case on the incident and deposited the body at the RIMS mortuary for post mortem.
