IMPHAL, January 27: On the second day of the Chakang Gaang Ngai festivities, a gift exchange program between Meitei and the Kabui community was held today to highlight the theme of love between communities and strengthening the ties brotherhood at Major Khul organized by the All Manipur Ethnic AMESCO. Speaking to the media, BK Moirangcha, secy gen AMESCO said the exchange of gifts during Gaang Ngai has been there between the two communities since 20 years back. “Different communities residing in Manipur have a strong relationship with each other and to save culture, tradition and to live with peace and harmony we believe in celebrating festivities together,” he said.
