IMPHAL, Jan 3: The report of the high power inquiry committee instituted to investigate the death of Th. Dwijamani also known as Nanao has been submitted to the Manipur Government according to a statement from the All Manipur Working Journalists` Union (AMWJU). It may be mentioned that the high power inquiry committee was set up following a memorandum of understanding between AMWJU and the Manipur Government with Dr. Sureshbabu IAS, Principal Secretary (Home) as Chairman and LM Khoute Addl. DGP, Manipur and A. Mobi, President of AMWJU as members. The Commitee took statements of 16 people in relation to the death of Th. Dwijamani and watched 3 video clippings as well, the statement added.
