IMPHAL, Jan 30: In a press release, the Joint Admininstrative Council (JAC) of the All Manipur Trade Unions Council (AMTUC)and All Manipur Govt. Employees Organisation (AMGEO) said that the state government has not paid salaries to its employees and workers as per the sixth pay commission in toto and DA/DR doses for employees, workers and pensioners have not been enhanced. The press release noted that the main demands which the government had assured to fulfill have not been met yet. It takes 2/3 years when the employees withdraw the GPF fund and the monthly salaries have not been paid regularly, it added. COTA has also urged the government of Manipur to pay off all the arrears and dues failing which it has threatened to launch agitations.
