IMPHAL, January 25: According to the press release issued by Y. Joykumar singh, Director General of Police, Manipur, Imphal, the personnel of Manipur police who have been awarded police medal for gallantry are Potsangbam Tarunkumar Singh ( Sub- Inspector), Radhakishor Tongbram ( Habildar), M. Roshan Singh (Havildar), Maibam Uttam Singh ( sub-Inspector), M Nungshibabu singh (Havildar), Md. Rajib Khan ( Sub- Inspector), Oinam Sanjitkumar Singh ( Rifleman), Sangapam Ibotombi Singh ( Sub-Inspector) and Khangembam Herojit Singh ( Rifleman).
The personnel who have been awarded police medal for meritorious service on the occasion of Republic Day Celebration, 2013 are L. Ibotombi Singh ( Commandant), N. Manimohon Singh (Dy. Secy (Home), Mangkhojang Kipgen (Asst. Comdt.), N. Sanatomba Singh ( Subedar), Y. IndrakumarSingh ( Subedar), N. Binoy Singh ( Inspector) and L. Nabachandra ( Havildar).
Meanwhile, according to the message from DGCD Home New Delhi to Director Manipur Fire Service Government of Manipur Fire Service HQ, Imphal, the President has approved the award of fire service medal for meritorious service to Sanatomba Singh Thounaujam, Leading Fireman of the Manipur Fire Service.
